St. Mary Christmas Giving Tree

During the Christmas Season we prepare for the At Giving Tree at St. Mary Church.  It is one of the happiest Ministries in our parish.

A tree is placed on the altar and wishing stars and balls are put on the tree with the names of children and their wishes...  The names come from the local battered women's center, nursing homes and local families.

Our parishioners take a tag from the tree, fulfill the wish and return the package at the appropriate time for delivery.  Gifts are delivered to recipient agencies the week before Christmas for distribution.

Thanks to a giving and loving parish community, many children find happiness on this day of Our Lord's birth.
