St. Mary Finance Council

Parish Finance Council assists the pastor, who is accountable to the Diocesan Bishop for the administration and stewardship of parish temporal goods of the parish. An active, well-formed Parish Finance Council is a key element for promoting the financial health of a parish, assuring accountability and assisting the pastor with his temporal responsibilities.

The Finance Ministry is provided to assist the Pastor in his financial decision making for the parish.

It meets four times a year or when needed to review the   financial health of the parish.  It may offer suggestions about future development of parish.

New members are appointed by the Pastor.

Mission & Purpose of the Council

Our mission is to responsibly oversee the financial   process for the Church of St. Mary, focusing on the guidelines of our Catholic tradition and acting with integrity, truthfulness and confidentiality.
