Guidelines for Parishioners of St. Mary Catholic Church
as We Open Our Church for Weekend and Weekday Mass

The Celebration of Mass will begin at St. Mary Parish on the weekend of May 16th-17th.  Mass will also be celebrated at 9:00 am on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings with one evening Mass in Polish at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evening. In order to respect social distancing, weekend and weekday Masses will be celebrated only in the larger main church.

However, because of the continued presence of the COVID-19 in our environment, certain restrictions will have to be met in order to ensure the safety of the faithful.  Seating at the church will be monitored in order to accommodate the number of persons deemed appropriate following social distancing guidelines:  Maximum of approximately 65 to 70 persons at each gathering. Our faithful will understand the necessity to close church doors once the quota is met…  restriction for the sake of safety.  All those attending are required to wear face masks for the same reason.

Bishop Estevez has dispensed the faithful from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass until further notice.  Those who are at most risk of illness are encouraged to stay home and continue to participate in televised Masses.

Distribution of Communion will be offered for those not able to attend Mass. On Saturday, Holy Communion will be distributed at 3:00pm. On Sunday, the service will take place at 10:45am. Communion will be given on the hand at both Distribution of Communion and the Celebration of Holy Mass.

Confessions will be scheduled by appointment only.  The confessional will not be in use during the pandemic.

Thank you for your patience and let us continue to remember one another in love and prayer.  God’s blessings on all.
